Bosch refrigerators with an internal water filter use one of two genuine Bosch filters: the UltraClarity Pro (BORPLFTR55, now sold as 11032531) or the older UltraClarity (BORPLFTR10, now sold as 11034152). They are not interchangeable.

Identifying your Bosch filter

  • Bosch's spec sheet for your model lists the filter under Accessories.
  • BORPLFTR50 and BORPLFTR55 are the same UltraClarity Pro filter; Bosch's current part 11032531 replaces both.
  • Some models changed filter between production versions. The B20CS30SNS/02 takes the UltraClarity, the /03 to /05 the UltraClarity Pro, so check the suffix after the slash on your model label.
  • Bosch recommends changing the filter every 6 months, or when the fridge says it is due.

What water filter does a Bosch refrigerator use?

Most current Bosch French door and 3-door models, including the 800 Series B36CT80SNS, use the UltraClarity Pro (BORPLFTR55, part 11032531). Some older models use the UltraClarity (BORPLFTR10). Look up your model number or read the part number on your current filter.

Is BORPLFTR50 the same as BORPLFTR55?

Yes. Bosch lists both as the UltraClarity Pro filter, and its current part 11032531 replaces both.

Can I use a BORPLFTR10 in place of a BORPLFTR55?

No. The UltraClarity and UltraClarity Pro fit different housings. Use the one Bosch lists for your model.
