Identifying your Amana filter
- The everydrop number (Filter 1, 3 or 4) and part number are printed on the filter in your fridge now.
- If your old filter says UKF8001 or UKF8001AXX, the current replacement is everydrop Filter 4 (EDR4RXD1).
- Amana and Maytag are both Whirlpool Corporation brands and use the same everydrop filters, so the steps for each filter in our Maytag guide also apply to Amana.
- Look up the full model number from the label inside the fridge. The colour letter (B, S, W) doesn't change the filter for the models we list.

Where is the water filter in an Amana refrigerator?
It depends on the filter. Filter 4 sits behind a cover in the upper right corner inside the fridge, Filter 3 is in the base grille at the bottom with an eject button, and Filter 1 is behind a filter door in the upper right corner or in the base grille.
How do I reset the water filter light on an Amana fridge?
